Betty Dietsch, Owner, Certified Personal Trainer
Betty Dietsch is the owner and head trainer of Fitness Strategies, a North Palm Beach family owned and operated fitness and exercise studio.Throughout her impressive 35 year career, Betty has received a number of renowned certifications from The American College of Sports Medicine; The American Council on Exercise; The American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals; and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Prior to establishing Fitness Strategies, Betty worked as a Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym® while attending classes full-time in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University.
"I've been working in the health and fitness industry as a "hands-on" fitness trainer since 1975, and here in Palm Beach County since 1992. After many years as an instructor in the big gym environment, I decided to focus on creating a health studio that was more personal, yet able to offer a variety of affordable fitness options for everyone's tastes. Having my own gym has given me the opportunity to fulfill many ideas I've researched and structured over the years - mainly, that getting fit need not be boring, expensive, intimidating nor stressful!" says Betty.
Ana de Augustinis, Zumba® Fitness Instructor
Ana de Augustinis is the Zumba® Fitness and Drums Alive® Instructor at Fitness Strategies, with professional certifications in many Personal Fitness Training, Group Exercise Instruction, and Senior Fitness Programs - including the innovative Silver Sneakers® Program.
Since receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Ana has amassed over 20 years of experience teaching aerobics, and is looking forward to many more with Fitness Strategies. "It's a great environment" says Ana, "because it's a small studio, I have the opportunity to establish a relationship with my students by giving them personalized attention and understanding their needs."
Wendy Toral, Zumba® Fitness Instructor
Wendy Toral is a certified Zumba® Fitness instructor with 3 year's experience. She has had a passion for dancing since she was a child and loves to share it with her class. "In a one hour session of Zumba you can burn up to a 1,000 calories while having fun! What can be better than that?", says Wendy. Whether you are an avid dancer or just a beginner, Zumba® can provide you with a great way to stay fit, make friends, and release your stress.
Rita Prather, Pilates Instructor & Licensed Massage Therapist
Rita Prather has been in the health and fitness industry for 25 years. She holds certifications in Pilates, Personal Training, and is a licensed Massage Therapist. Rita is excited to be a part of Betty's team at Fitness Strategies to teach Pilates Ball and Mat classes, catering to both the older adult and all fitness enthusiasts who want to increase their flexibility, core strength and improve balance and posture. She is also available for massage therapy by appointment.
Rebecca Smith, Zumba® Fitness Instructor
Rebecca Smith, has always loved all genres of music and as a child wanted to be a professional Ballerina. With a father who was in the Army and never being at any one location long enough, dance was something she could explore but not consistently enough to invest a future in. Music has always been cathartic and helped her get through her life with all the ups and downs it has to offer. She stumbled upon Zumba out of curiosity. She always had a desire to live a healthier lifestyle but honestly could not commit out of pure boredom to other programs. Now with 5 years of taking classes and nearly a year of Instructing she has found away to satisfy her inner child but also want to pass on this passion to others. "God gives us all gifts and it is what we do with those gift that can turn it into a blessing for others".
